MINMIDT chairs the Ceremony to lay the foundation stone for the construction of a factory to manufacture gas cylinders by AKENO S.A

The Minister of Mines, Industry and Technological Development, Mr Ernest GBWABOUBOU chairs this day 16th of August 2018,the Ceremony to lay the foundation stone for the construction of a factory to manufacture gas cylinders by AKENO S.A.
AKENO S.A will build a manufacturing plant for composite gas cylinders. The value of materials and equipment required is € 15 million, or FCFA 10 billion for a total investment over the reference period of five (05) years of FCFA 35 billion. The production capacity of the plant will be 350,000 bottles a year, for a work rate of 23h / 24h divided into 3 teams for a total of 600 direct jobs.
A filling center comprising two LPG storage spheres with a capacity of 1,500 MT each will also be built one year after the start of production. The plant will have a storage center for raw materials and finished products. The raw materials will represent each year a total supply of FCFA 4 billion, including fiberglass, polystyrène, epoxy, resin.
