LE MINT ET LE MINMIDT REÇUS PAR LE PREMIER MINISTRE CONGOLAIS
Cette rencontre s’est tenue en marge de la signature, ce 05 décembre 2023 à Brazzaville, du contrat de partenariat en mode Built-Operate-Transfer (BOT), pour le financement, la conception, la construction, l’exploitation et la maintenance de la ligne de chemin de fer Nabeba -Mbalam-Avima. Tout au long des échanges, le Ministre des Transports, Jean Ernest Masséna NGALLE BIBEHE et le Ministre des Mines, de l’Industrie et du Développement technologique par intérim, Secrétaire d’Etat, le Professeur FUH Calistus Gentry, accompagnés par le Ministre d’Etat congolais, Ministre des Industries minières et de la Géologie, Pierre OBA, ont réaffirmé le 04 décembre 2023 au Premier Ministre de la République du Congo, Anatole Collinet MAKOSSO, l’engagement du Président de la République du Cameroun, S.E. Paul BIYA à faire de la Coopération sous régionale,
une réalité. La deuxième phase de signature de ce contrat dont la première avait été faite en février 2022 à Yaoundé, est une étape importante dans la réalisation de ce projet, cher aux Chefs des deux Etats, S.E. Paul BIYA (Cameroun) et S.E. Denis SASSOU NGUESSO (Congo). La pose de la première pierre de construction de cette ligne de chemin de fer est annoncée du côté camerounais dans les prochains jours.
This meeting took place on the sidelines of the signing, on 05 December 2023 in Brazzaville, of the Built-Operate-Transfer (BOT) partnership contract for the financing, design, construction, operation and maintenance on the Nabeba-Mbalam-Avima railway line. Throughout the discussions, the Minister of transport, Jean Ernest MASSÉNA NGALLE BIBEHE and the Acting Minister of Mines, Industry and Technological Developpement, Secretary of State, professor FUH CALISTUS GENTRY, accompanied by the Congolese Minister of State, Minister of Mining Industries and Geology, Pierre OBA MAKOSSO, on 04 December 2023, the commitment of the President of the Republic of Cameroon, H.E. Paul BIYA, to make the Nabeba-Mbalam-Avima railway line and sub-regional cooperation a reality. The second phase of the signing of this contract, the first of which took place in Yaoundé in February 2022, is an important step in the realization of this project, so dear to the Heads of State of Cameroon, H.E. Paul BIYA, and of Congo, H.E. Denis SASSOU NGUESSO. The laying of the foundation stone for the construction of this railway line is expected to take place on the Cameroonian side in the next few days.
